Balls are dropping

This is going on at my next door neighbor's house. Not exactly sure what the deal is. Pretty interesting though.

So I've seen this sort of thing at San Onofre and even Bolsa Chica, but never in my few years of surfing have I seen a floor mat with guido sandals on it behind a new red Chevy Impala at River Jetties. I might just quit surfing.


Maybe I should have stole his slippers just so that he would think twice about leaving them behind his car.

Magical Island

Got a chance to go to a mythical island most don't know even exists. It's about 45 miles from LA. If you've ever had a window seat taking off from LAX you might have caught a glimpse of it. Good friends, decent fishing, and incredible weather.

Glad I drive a Prius.

Modern Collective

I bought Modern Collective yesterday and watched it twice back to back last night. It's pretty mind blowing the stuff these guys are doing. The music's good and the waves are rad.

Can't tell if I want to surf my brains out or just quit.
